Lieutenant Peter Achanda Ongeri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lt Peter Achanda Ongeri of KDF which occurred on 27th February 2018.

He was son of Emmanuel Achanda Suguta (Kiminini Police Station) and Monicah Achanda (Riyabe Primary School). Brother of Felix Achanda (Medical Media Services) and Cynthia Achanda (Masinde Muliro University). Grandson of Suguta, Bonareri, Late Nyansuku, Late Omagwa and Bisieri, Late Nyamoti, Late Mwamba, Late Matera, Ogoro, Birisi and Ankiri among others. Nephew of Swanya, Aboki, Late Ooga, Nyansuku, Samwel Ongwenyi, Hellen, Nyabirimo, Anyona, Mbogo, Auka, Late Samwel, Penina, Late Nyamechi, Chief Okeri, Ken Ogoro, David Birisi, Geoseck, Pst Nyakundi, Mogire, Moses, Maosa, Askah, Callen, Late Barongo, Bwari Alex, Marion And Anticonen, Bogita Ongeri (MOD) among others. Cousin of Maturi Swanya, Edwin, Dennis, Nyambusi, Hellen, Festus, Magangi, Omagwa, Simba, Nyaboke, Getache’s, Maturi’s Rodin, Dominic, Wyclif Osoro, Evalyne, Duncan and Lilian among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Antonio’s Grill, opposite City Hall Annex at 6:00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The body leaves the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital Morgue on Sunday 11th March 2018 for burial at Bwabene village, Rigoma, Nyamira County on Monday 12th March 2018.
