It is with profound sadness and a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Professor Aloys Gekonge Tumbo Oeri of Mosocho Village, Bogeka Sub-Location, Kitutu Chache South Constituency which occurred on March 7, 2018. Our Patriarch: a grandfather, father, brother, uncle, and mentor to many.

Son to the late Goderico Masega Oeri, and the late Kebati Kerobma. Husband to Rose Phoebe Nyatuka Tumbo. Father of Raymond, Geoffrey, Olivia, George and Kebati. Brother to the late Martha Mama, the late Hon. Dr. Zachary Onyonka, Elizabeth Andima, Julia Nyakundi, the lace Fred Oeri Mochama and Stella Osebe. Brother-in-law to the late Ambassador Kefa Onyoni, Susan Ongera, the late Isaiah Nyabwari, the late Mary Nyarega, Wilkista Bridges, the late Bilhah Motieri, Wilkista Onsando, Mary Onyancha, Monicah Anyiega, Rispah Oenga, the late Meshack Onderi, Beatrice Mghamba Onyonka, Penny Mochama, Peter Andima, John Nyakundi and Theo Osebe amongst others.

The Requiem Mass will be held at the Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Wednesday, March 14 at 10.00 a.m.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Railways Club at 5.p.m from Monday, March 12 2018.

The main fundraisers will be held in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 5p.m and also in Kisii at Ufanisi Resort at 2 p.m.
