Lt. Col (Rtd) Patrick Gachoka Kanja

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of the Lt. Col (Rtd) Patrick Gachoka Kanja.

The second born of the late Solomon Gachoka Kanja and Jane Wairimu Gachoka. Loving Husband of Mary Njeri Kanja. Father of Deborah Wairimu Kanja, Ritah Muthomi Kanja, Belinda Waruguru Kanja. Loving Grandfather of Sally Wayua Simbar. Son-in-law of the late Simon Kamau Ngotho and Rachael Muthoni Ngotho.

Caring brother of Naomi Kariuki, Col (Rtd) Eliud Gitaka, Antony Gachoka, Hellen Wangeci, Elijah Mwangi. Brother-in-law of Michael Kariuki, Antonina Gachoka, Lucy Gachoka. Brother-in-law of Joseph Ngotho, Florence Ngotho, Monica Ngotho, Samuel Mwathi, Rachael Mwathi, Margaret Wachira, Robert Wachira, the late Nyambura Ngotho, Lucy Opudo (Canada), Charles Opudo (Canada), Daniel Wainaina and Beatrice Obudho.

A requiem mass will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Church Kiembeni on Friday 21st May 2021 from 10am and hereafter he will be laid to rest at the Mbaraki Cemetry, Mombasa County.
