Elder George Maigwa Mwangi (Meja)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Elder George Maigwa Mwangi (Meja) of Gikondi – Nyeri, Nyahururu and Nairobi that occurred on Saturday 15th May 2021 at Kijabe Mission Hospital.

He was husband to Rose Muthoni and Mary Wangui. Father to; Ignatius (Invesco), Mwangi (jumbo Munyiri), Nduta Ann (Nyahururu), Njeri (Gatimu Secondary), Bonnie (Veils), Shiku (Nyahururu), Simon (Sirville), Rose (Krumble) and Nduta Jane (Backyard Coffee Lounge). Father in-law to; Caroline, Sarah, Silvia and Mercy.

Grandfather to; Ivy, Calvin, Ivana, Antonio, Claudio, Rehema, Blessings, Nduta, Ethan, Nathan, Adoncia, Edelshievel and Wangari. Brother to the late Wanjiku and Muthoni, Wakarindi Muchire, Sister Mathew, the late Wanjiku Mugambi, Aureria Gakuru and Wairun Wanjau,Wakarindi Muchiri and Waithiegeni. He was uncle to Kigoi, Harrison, Gerald, Karai, Maina, Mwangi, Ngonyo, Muringi and many others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home-Thika Road on Saturday 22nd May 2021 at 8AM and proceeds to Nyeri, Gikondi, Nyakahuho (opposite Nyakahuho Primary) at 10AM where he will be laid to rest.
