Lucy Akinyi Odhiambo

(1968 – 29th August 2022)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s divine will, that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Lucy Akinyi Odhiambo that occurred on the 29th August 2022.

Daughter of the late Matthews Odhiambo Nyakota and the late Dorcas Onyando Odhiambo. Loving mother to Petronila Anyango Ochieng. Sister to the late Samuel, the late Peres, the late Steve, the late Hellen, Silper, Hon. Elisha Odhiambo MP GEM, Florence, Rose, Josephine, Nelly, Jeremiah and Cristabel.

Sister- in-law to Caroline Opondo, Laura Kilei, Pauline Oluoch, Tom, Fred, Charles and the Late George.

Auntie to Brenda, Matilda, Lucas, Dorcas, Cindy, Bob, David, Linda, Stephen,Victor, Patricia, Gift, Bella, Nisha, Ivan, Melanie,Vanessa, Kyle, Fridah, Morgan, Elsa, Darrel,Valerie, Barbara, Marie, Osir, Diana and Matthew.

The cortege leaves Ugunja Mortuary on 10th September 2022 to Mutumbu Home for burial on 11th September 2022.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Mutumbu Home in Gem and Kuche Kuche Nyayo Stadium from tomorrow for funeral arrangements.
