Appreciation

We, the family of the late Lucy Wanjiku Wanjohi, would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all who-stood with us during our time of bereavement. We were deeply touched by the support and care extended to our family by our relatives, friends and former colleagues of Lucy Wanjiku.

We thank the leadership and staff of The Parliament of Kenya led by The Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt, Hon. (Dr.) Moses M. Wetang’ula-, Mr Samuel Njorogc, CBS, Clerk of the National Assembly; The National Assembly Board of Management and Mr. Zakayo Mogere, Deputy Director of Legislative and Procedural Services, Senate, for working diligently and faithfully to give our beloved Lucy Wanjiku a befitting, send-off.

We acknowledge and want to thank the organizing committee, the Nyana volunteers, Dr. Elijah Njau and the team of doctors at Nairobi Hospital, Fr. Mimo and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kahawa Sukari. We further wish to thank Fr Dr J.B. Kariuki of Chaka Parish. Fr. Francis Mathenge, the Assistant Chief of Karundas and our neighbours in Kahawa Sukari, Kimahuri and Karundas.

You have all shown us the true meaning of family, community, and friendship. The support. kindness and love extended throughout this difficult process will forever be cherished, and we are truly grateful.
