Luka Weru Kamau

We regret to announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Luka Weru Kamau which occurred at Nairobi West Hospital on 4th May 2019. He hails from Gathara-ini Village, Kamacharia location, Mathioya sub-county, Muranga County.

Luka was son of the late Moses Kamau Muta and the late Lydia Wangechi Kamau, he was the son-in law of the late Gatibi (Wachira) Gachugi and Esther Muthoni Gatibi. He is survived by his wife Mrs Viginiah Wambui Weru and their children Willy Kamau and Esther Wangari, Anthony Wachira and Jane Njeri, Edward Muta and Veronica Wangui, Reverend Dickson Gachugi and Hostensiah Nyokabi and the late George Guandaru. He leaves behind ten grandchildren. Brother of Abigael Njoki Mwangi, the late Edward Mwangi Kamau, Tabitha Wairimu Karuku and Monica Wanjiru Githinji.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his home Gathara-ini, Sparks Village Kayole, Muranga Sawa Lodge, ACK St Barnabas Olepolos Hall Ngong and at All Saints Cathedral from 6.00pm-8.00pm on Tuesday 07/05/19 and Wednesday 08/05/2019.

The Cortege leaves Kiria-ini Mission Mortuary on Friday 10th May 2019 at 9.00am for funeral service at ACK St. Lukes Kihuro Church @ 11am and burial thereafter at his home Gathara-ini village.
