Mzee Charles Njoroge Wanjihia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Charles Njoroge Wanjihia on Saturday May 4th 20 19.

Husband of the late Zipporah Nyambura Njoroge. Son of the late Wanjihia Njoroge and the late Mary Njeri Mbeca. Loving father of the late Mary Gitau, Wanjihia and Muthoni Njoroge, the late Teresiah Mwangi, Kariru and Huro Njoroge, Wanjiru Njoroge, the late Sarah Njoroge, Ngigi and Njoki Njoroge, Kariuki and Njeri Njoroge, Hannah and Mwaniki Mukundi and Mukora and Everlyn Njoroge. Grandfather of Ruth Kimani, Charles Mwangi, Susan Njoroge, Valentine Gituara, Charles Njihia, Nyambura Kariru, Alex Njoroge, Nyambura Kariuki, Wairimu Mwaniki, among others and a great-grandfather of many. Brother of the late Wanjiku, the late Wanjiru, Wangui, Wambui and late Ngigi.

Family and friends are meeting at Turnaini House Nairobi at 5:30pm and Rumwe Farm Njoro at 6.00pm daily. There will be prayer services on Friday 10th May at 5.00pm and on Sunday 12th May at 2.00pm at Runda.

The cortege leaves Egerton University Funeral Home on Tuesday 14th May at 9.00am for a funeral service at his family home, Rumwe Farm Njoro where Mzee Njoroge will be laid to rest.
