Lydia Nyagaki Muchemi

It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved mum, grandma, sister, auntie and friend Lydia Nyagaki Muchemi.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Kamau Wanguhu and the late Florence Wambui Kamau.

She was the wife of Col Rtd David Muchemi. Beloved and loving mother of John Wangai, Charles Karnau, Nancy & Anthony Mureti and Florence Wambui. She was a mother figure of Nora Atieno. Cucu of Miles Wangai, Munene and Muruthi Mureti, Muruthi Fionn and Ciara Nyagaki.

Sister of the late Wycliff Wanguhu, Benson Mbugua, late Mesh Wanguhu, Lily Kabura, Gibson Gichuru, Margaret Wangechi, Alex Manyara, Charlene Wamaitha, Wanguhu Kamau, Kimani Kamau and Manyara Kamau.

Sister-in-law of the late Leah Wanguhu, Priscilla Mbugua, Margaret Wanguhu, Bernt Olson, Irene Gichuru, Hasse Erickson, Carol Manyara, George Karanja, Sarah Wanguhu, Njeri Kimani, Nyawira Manyara. An auntie and grandmother to many.
