Maj (Rtd) Michael K. Rotich

It is with deep shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of our beloved Major (Rtd) Michael Kosgei Rotich which occurred on 1st July 2019 after a short illness.

Son of the late Barsekuton Rotich and the Late Kobilo Rotich. Brother of the late Taptuei Barngetuny, the late Taplilei Beikong, Cheboi arap Too, the late Tabamo Murei and Jennifer Lomeri. Husband of the late Priscillah Rotich, the late Salome Rotich and Lucy Rotich. Father of Robert kipchumba, Ednah chebet,Timothy kibet, Claire chemutai and Peter Chirchir. Father in law of Pamela kipchumba, Mercy kibet and Isaac wanjohi. Grandfather of Jelagat, Ryan, Ivan, Brian; Ian, Nathan, Adrian, Mathew, Crystal, Kyle and Kelly. Brother In-law of Jacob manoi, Sammy silamoi, Joshua tallam and many others. Uncle of the late. Barkoria chelal, Christine jeruto, Jane kiptanui, Thomas cheruiyot, Margret chepchirchir, Joel Lomery, Tony Kiprop, Boaz kiprotich amongest others. Nephew and cousin of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Marakwet farm Kiplombe and Cheptobot, Kapcherop farms at 5pm.

There will be a main fund’s drive on 8th July 2019 towards medical bill and funeral /expenses at Sirikwa hotel Eldoret as from 4pm.

The cortege will leave Moi teaching and referral hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 9th July for an overnight stay at his residence in Kiplombe. Burial will be on Wednesday 10th July 2019.
