Josphine Njoki Thiongo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Beloved Josphine Njoki Thiongo that occurred on 26th June, 2019. She hails from Murang’a County, Mathioya Sub-county, Gitugi Division, Kambara Village.

Daughter of the late Thaiku wa Thuo and Njeri Thaiku. Mother of James Mwangi, Geoffrey Thaiku, Nelson lrungu, Eunice Wambui Ochieng’, Stanley Maina, the late Robert Muriu, and the late Muthoni Thiong’o. Mother-in-law of Agnes Mwangi, Pauline Thaiku, Jane Irungu, Jude Ochieng’ Kidera, Grace Maina and Eunice Muriu. Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to many.

Family and Friends are meeting at her home in Kambara, and at Tumaini House behind Kencom House, 5th Floor, room number 5E, at 6:00 pm for the preparations of her send-off.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 6th July, 20 I9 at 7:30am and proceed to Murang’a. Her Requiem Service will be held on Saturday 6th July, 2019 at Kambara ACK Church, and thereafter, the Funeral Ceremony at her home in Kambara Village.

God has you in his arms, we shall forever have you in our hearts. All the glory to God. Amen!
