Mama Anah Kimitei

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Anah Kimitei of Kambugu Village, Kuinet/ Kapsuswa Ward, Soy Sub-county, Uasin Gishu County, on 1St September, 2022.

Beloved wife to the late William Nyongio Kimitei. Sister to Samwel Kipsanga, Sarah Busienei and Teresa Nonichi. Daughter of the late Kiplel Arap Ngetich and the late Josphinah Kikwai of Shirika Village, Kuinet Location, Uasin Gishu County.

Daughter in-Law to the late Kimitei Arap Chumo and the late Tabasei Chumo and Jeboagy Chumo of Chepkatet, Nandi County. Loving mother to the late Stephen Ngala, the late John Cheruiyot, Christine Chumba, Priscilah Mafwabi, James Kiprop, Ezekiel Sitienei, Abraham Lelmengit, Rose Kosgei, Jackson Kimosbei, Eunice Korir, the late the late Milcah Boit, Dan Mitei and Ken Korir.

Mother-in-law to Salome, Magret, Simon, Mafwabi, Mercy, Beatrice, Peris, David Bitok, Lydia, the late Shadrach Korir, James Boit, Betsy and Sheila Korir. Grandmother (60) great-grandmother (30) Great-great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 15th September, 2022 for an overnight vigil at her Kambugu Village home. Burial service will be held at her home on Friday 16th September, 2022 starting at 9.00am.
