With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing away of Mama Annah Kwamboka Mayaka of Botire Village, Magenche Sub-location, Kisii County, at Meridian Hospital, Nairobi, on 26th December 2021, following a long illness.

Daughter to the late Timothy Morata Obaigwa and the late Mama Keremencia Binsari. Wife to the late Obadiah Mayaka Gitebe. Mother to Rodah, Abel, the late Elizabeth, Omwenga, Dickson, the late Gideon, Ezekiel (Director, Universal Adjusters Kenya Ltd), CouncilorVictor, Rose and Hellen. Grandmother to Sefah, Pamela, Steve, Josephat, Babu, Salim, Julia, Jenes, Zainabu, Orenge, Esther, Nyanchama, Moraa, Lilian, Osmond, Lorna, Mohammed, Elizabeth, David, Mercy, Fred, Vane, Eunice, Irene, Felix, Cynthia, Marion, Precious, Brian, Collins, Zipporah, Eddie, Lexine, Vane, Samuel, Elsa and Chloe.

Sister to the late Nyanchoka, Bina, Mochama, Onderi, Robert Ogeo, the late Obara,Alice, the late Oichoe, Eunice, Amos, Richard, David, Kepha, Jane, Kwamboka Mayaka Albert and Dennis Morata. Mother-in-law to the late Truphosa, the late Florence,Agnes, Jeniffer, Serah, Sally, the late Zlpporah, Zipporah Obure and Linet. She was a mother, cousin, sister, colleague and friend to many.

Family and friends have been meeting in Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The main fundraising will be held on Wednesday 5th January, 2022 at Maxwell SDA church from 4:30 p.m.

The Cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 6th January, 2022 morning. Mama will be laid to rest at her home in Botire Village, Magenche Sub-location, Bomachoge Borabu Constituency, Kisii County, on Friday 7th January, 2022.

    The late was a pleasant soul, always smiling and unassuming. She was a dear friend to my mum. When i was young she used to visit our home. They will chat and laugh with mum the whole day. They had time for one another and loved each other genuinely. It is well my friend Ezekiel and the Mayaka family.
