It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that Dr. Bobby OVC- SHARE program-Mbita announces the death of their program officer Mama Cyprina Akeyo Abonyo which occurred on 10/01/2020 after a long battle with cancer.

Daughter of the Late Wilbrod Kiriga Genge and late Maria Ndiro of Tonga in Gwassi Suba South. Wife of the late Lazarus Abonyo, Co-wife of the Late Jacinta Abonyo and Rose Abonyo. Mother of June Abonyo-office of the president Mbita, Patrick Abonyo-Businessman Sindo, Anne Abonyo-CRS Nairobi, Neddy Abonyo-Kisumu County, Gabriel Abonyo-Jesuit Fathers Rome and Ibrahim Abonyo-IRDO Siaya. Sister of the late Agnes Oketch, late atricia Genge, Benedata Genge, the late Austine Genge, Rob-ert Genge, Patrick Ochira, Benadus lenge, Colleta Genge, Kadia Genge and Mary Adoyo. Daughter in law of late Aimo Minima and late Nerea Maira. Sister in law of late Ogutu Aimo, late Maritha Auma and Paul Abayo.

Mother in law of Denis Abuya Homabay Prisons, Collins Ogutu Action Aid Nairobi, Fredrick Owuor SERCO Dubai, Everlyne Kamaria Ngere High School and Helen Odemba-Ombo Nursing School Migori. Other in-laws are late Andrew Abuya, Linet Abuya, Late John Orondo, Late Margaret Owuato, Late Johnson Atieno, late DorcaAtieno, late Hezron Oloo Odemba and Yunia Adhiambo. Grandmother of Andrew Abuya of Belgium, Leonard Abuya -Nairobi, Christine Abuya — Moi University, Giovanni Tunucci Rapogi boys High School, Anita Ginara -Chemelil Academy, Mary Molent —Little Star, Condoleeza Mariano-St. Agnes, Marion Abonyo St. Agnes, Xavier _Carmen —St. Agnes, Martha Abonyo- St. Agnes and Peregrine Abonyo.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Mortuary Kisumu on 30thJanuary 2020 by 8.30 am for a requiem mass at Mbita Parish at 11.00 am and thereafter another requiem mass at Sindo Parish at 3.00 pm. Then the body will be taken to her family home in Suba South, Kaksingri west Ward, in Kamasimbi Village of Homabay County for a night vigil.

Burial will take place at the same place on the 31st January 2020.
