Mama Dina Achola Okello

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Dina Achola Okello.

Wife of the late Teacher Everist Okello Abuto of Kakikwa village, Kanyango -Kowidi, Kasipul Division.

Daughter of the late Melkizedek and the late Mama Serfina Nyaidho Winyo of Jimo Ragen, Nyakach Sub-county. Sister to the late Leo Arao, Thomas Nyaidho, Hellen, Mary, Lucia Owanda, Obuong’. Her other kins are Mary Owuor,Anna, Okoyo, Manyala-Nyiloyi Katito among others. Other co-wives are Jane, Lewinta among others.

Mother-in-law to Mathews Nyamune from Kameji, Ochanda from Kadianga-Matafari, Major Maurice and Agneta Sumba from Alego-Ulanda; John Okelo from Kamagambo; Wa’Misigaro from Kigoma Tanzania and others.

Mother to Aquinata Aluoch, the late Martin Onyango, Austin Muma – Chief Principal Ringa Boys, Scholastica, the late Mary, Caroline, George of Nyankororo Secondary, Paul of Arusha Tanzania and Edwina. Others are Chrispin, Nicholas of Ongoro Primary, Cresentia of Kogola Primary and Japuonj.

Mother-in-law to Susan Ayuka, Onyango, the late Mary Goldmea Muma, Evelyn Okech Muma of Laikipia University, Emilly Awuor, Immaculata Misigaro.

She left 32 grandchildren who are: Kalsin, Mercy, Laura, Eugene, Gloria and others. She has left 17 great-grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Mortuary Kisumu on 29/09/2022. She will be laid to rest on 30/09/2022, at Kakikwa Village next to Nyahera Girls.
