Mama Doris Nyanchera Nyakora

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwamoitui Matriarch, Mama Doris Nyanchera Nyakora on 11/05/2021 at Sinai Hospital.

Wife of the late Erasto Nyakora of Buyonge village, Kanyimbo Sub-location, Gucha Sub-county, Kisii County. Loving mother of the late Chris Omanga, James Oichoe, the late Zephaniah Ogechi, Prof. Musa Nyakora, Rael Ondari, Leah Masese, Julius Nyaega, Alice Bitutu and Evans Orina.

Sister of the late Paulina Okumu, the late Harrison Ondari, the late Mary Nyareso, the late Stephen Monanda, the late Omogo and Mzee Nathan Ong’era.

Mother-in-law of the late Durusilla Omanga, Lorna Oichoe, Jane Moraa, Ruth Ondara, the late Ondari Oroko, Dr. Masese Machuka, Rudiah Nyaega, Caren Orina. Grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral and church service will take place on Friday 21/05/2021, at Laiser Hill SDA Church grounds, from 9.30am and thereafter the body will be taken to her final resting place at Oloosrikon, Twala Township, Kajiado County.
