The Clan of Sat Awino and the family of Abdalla Owino Sat of Ndhiwa regret to announce the death of Mama Eunice Adhiambo (“Mama Gor”) that occurred on 16th March 2018 at Tabaka Mission Hospital, Kisii.

Wife of the late Abdalla Owino Sat, Pala Village, Kanyamwa location of Ndhiwa District Mother of Mary Oruoch, Kassim Owino (SeedCo), Dr Aziz Abdallah (Malawi), Hawa Ojwang’, Salima Makau, Faisha Ogolla (USA), Sarah Owino (Syngenta), Jeff Onyango among others. Sister-in-law of Rashid Adede (Awendo), Idi Omollo, Abdul Sat and the late Baraka Sat (Muhoroni), Faraje Sat, Omar Sat, Abdulahi Sat, all of Ndhiwa. Co-wife of the late Margaret Auma, Wilfrida Abdalla, Risper Adede (Awendo), Safina Omar (Mama Swedi), Jedida Omar, Pamela Idi, Hulda Abdufahi and others.

Daughter of the late Mzee Rasto and Marcela Koyo of Kanyaluo Kowuor School. She was sister of Loice Awino and the late Odeno Koyo, John Abeka, Daniel Aseto Koyoson, Rubot Okonjo and Angoi Koyo. Grandmother of Eunice Lipinski (Canada), George Musungu and Paul Oruoch (USA), Philip Oruoch (Nairobi Water), Ibrahim Ochieng (Australia), Jefferson Odhiambo among others.

Mother-in-law of Prof. Daniel Oruoch, Eng. Justus Makau (Del Monte), Eng. Fred Wambyakale, Dennis Anding, John Ojwang, John Oguta (Mombasa), Dr. Magdalene Kassim, Penina Ali, Carol Ayub among others. Auntie of Kennedy, Jennings, Leah, Elizabet, Argwings Koyoson and others.

The cortege will leave Rosewood Mortuary, Rongo, on 22nd March 2018 and she will be laid to rest on Friday 23rd March 2018 at her homestead in Pala Village Kanyamwa Location Ndhiwa District under the stewardship of Bethel SDA Church, Pala, under Pastor Samuel Ruto.
