Mama Joyce Mbira Ongoma

 Born 1950 – Died 4th June, 2021

The Ongoma family wish to announce the sudden demise of Mama Joyce Mbira Ongoma which occurred on Friday 4th June, 2021 in Mombasa.

She was wife of the late Padre Noah Mbira Ongoma. Daughter of the late Dan Gibson Ouma and the late Mary Ajuang Ouma of Alego Karapul. She was mother of the late Alex Otieno Mbira, Salome Ojiema, Sarah Mbira, Musa Mbira, Ben Mbira, Isaac Mbira, Elizabeth and Emily. Mother in law to the late Grace Otieno, Joel Ojiema, Allan Logedi, Mercy Musa, Florah Kuboka and Tabitha Omondi.

Sister in law to the late Hannington Owiti, late Elijah Odol, late Isaac Okoth, late Timothy Ongoma, Rosa Wahanda, Phoebe, Agnes and Turfosa. Grand mother to Noah, Elizabeth, Noel, Wilkister, Jojo, Akinyi, Pato, Natali, Natasha,Travez, Joyceline, Dan, 0J, Babu, Ela and Elan.

The body will be flown from Mombasa to arrive in Kisumu on Thursday 17th June, 2021 at 2:00 pm. The burial and funeral service will be on Friday 18th June, 2021 at the late Noah Mbira Ongoma’s home in Yimbo Nyangera in Siaya County. The funeral service will be presided over by Archbishop Joel Ofuna of Ruwe Holy Ghost Church of East Africa.
