It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mama Salome Bochaberi Onsongo, which occurred on August 24th. 2022.

Daughter of the late Nyasani Nyang’au and the late Peninah Kerubo of Monga Nyamaiya. Beloved wife of the late Onsongo Mweberi. Co-wife of the late Teresa Onsongo. Mother of the late Rose, Peninah, the late Evans, Grace, the late John, Benard Omandi, George, Nyasuguta and Edwin Nyang’au.

Sister of the late Siviah, the late Jemima, the late Mary, Teresa, the late Nyambuti, Samwel Nyagwoka, Osindi among others. Sister-in-law of the late Bosire, the late Ongwae, the late Tengeya, the late Omandi, the late Orenge, the late Ndemo, the late Nyakangi, the late Onchonga, the late Nyakundi, the late Solanus, the late Nyangige, the late Rael, the late Nyachama, the late Nyamanga Mwencha, Ariri Orango among others.

Mother-in-law of Mary Kwamboka, the late Vane, Susan, Catherine, Lydia, Elson, James, Richard and the late Maoto.

Meetings are being held daily at her home in Getiesi village Nyamira and the main harambee will be held on September 6’2022 at her home.

The cortege leaves Kinara Hospital, Bwomboga on September 8th. 2022 at 2.00pm. She will be laid to rest on Friday, September 9th. 2022 at her home, Getiesi village, Nyameru Sub-location, Keera location, Bogichora, Nyamira County.
