We regret to announce death of Mama Sibia Manoti Nyang’au, which occurred on 05/12/2019 at Mediforte Hospital, Kisii County. She hails from Iteresi village, Jogoo Shopping Centre, Mwamosioma Township of Kisii County.

Wife of the late Samson Nyang’au Metobwa. Mother of the late Fredrick Nyakundi, Pricilla Onkoba, Hellen Keroro, Charles Monad (DCC), Grace Onyando, the late Justus Momanyi, the late Samuel Onchagwa, Thomas Omai’, Robert Ongeri, Evalyne Maturi and Vane Ochoki. Daughter of the late Onchagwa Borura and the late Kerubo Onchagwa. Sister of the late Ondieki, the late Tinega and the late Magoma.

Sister-in-law of the late Aboki, the late Karani, the late Oresi, the late Manyega, the late Mong’ina, Motobori, Magoma and Nyangige. Cousin of Nyamweya, John, Samuel Getugi and others. Mother-in-law of Joshua, the late Alphayo, the late Thomas, Clive, Bob, Alice, Jane, Leah and Zipporah.

Grandmother of Dr. Arasa, Edward, Enock, Calvin, Salim, Sophie, Mike, Karen, Nicole, Mary and others. Great grandmother of many more. Korera of Mbeche, the late Somoni, the late Omoro, the late Abere, the late Opingo, Nyaoga, the late Muathe, the late Maturi and the late Ochoki.

Cortege leaves Hema Hospital on Thursday 19/12/2019, overnight vigil at Jogoo home. Brief service. Burial on 20/12/2019 at her Jogoo home as from 12noon.
