Mama Susana Marsiliana Mbeda Buop

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mama Susana Marsiliana Mbeda Buop, who went to be with the Lord on Friday, 24th June, 2022, after a brave and valiant battle with illness.

Daughter of the late Mzee Nyagaya Simi and the late Mama Rebecca Oyuga Ariri of Nyakach Kadiang’a, Kisumu County.

A loving wife to the late Nicholaus Buop Atieno, of Kamuga, Kojwach location, Homabay County. Dedicated mother to the late John Omullo Buop, the late Mary Ouko Otieno, Joseph Ondiek Buop, Andrew Odhiambo Buop and the late Pamela Okinyi. She was step-mother to Gradus Atieno Buop. Mother-in-law to Dorine Awuor Juma, Helida Akinyi Ondiek, and Selly Chelangat Omullo.

Brother to Joshua Nyabinda Nyagaya, Zilper Anyango Oywaya, Serfina Atieno, the late Peter Aguko Nyagaya, Samwel Magero, Adero Nyagaya, Ouko Nyagaya, Michael Mwande Mbeda, Patrick Ogaya and the late mama Awuor. She leaves behind many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Matata Nursing home, Oyugis, at 3:00pm on Sunday, 10th July 2022 for home, Kodongo Village in Kamuga Sub-location. Burial service will be conducted on Monday, 11th July 2022 at home and her remains interred hereafter.
