Margaret Kinya Kirera

It is with heavy heart and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to higher glory of our beloved mum Margaret Kinya Kirera of Kenya News Agency, Laikipia County which occurred on 31st October 2020 after a short illness.
She was the sixth child of Jennifer Kirera and the late Samuel Kirera. Loving and doting mother of Keziah Kagwiria Kirera “Shazz”. Sister of Stephen &Sarah, Gerald &Rose, Ruth, Miriam, Rhoda, George & Sarah, Ariel & Rose. Auntie of Nick & Daphne, Alfred & Hildah, Emily, Dennis, Ken &Faith, Eric & Carol, Kevin &Ivy, Liz, Brenda, Brian, Lynn, Evelyn, Brigid and Lauren.
Her boundless love and stewardship spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Family members, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily at her home in Muriinya, Buuri constituency, Meru County and Nanyuki.
The cortege leaves Nanyuki teaching and referral hospital on 6th November 2020 at 8:00 am for the funeral and burial service at Muriinya, Buuri constituency, Meru County from 10:00 am.
2nd Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
In God’s arms, you rest well. In our hearts, you live forever. Fare thee well our loved one. Till we meet again.
Maggy’s death is a big loss to me and indeed our Department. She will be greatly missed and may she have eternal peaceful repose. Let it be so.
