Margaret Ogolo Owino

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the demise of Mrs Margaret Ogolo Owino of Sakwa Kamluang, Bondo, Siaya County, which occurred on Monday 9th May, 2022 after a short illness.

Loving Wife to the late John Owino Wasio Formerly of Kenya Railways. Adoring Mother to Colotilda Odhiambo, (Head Teacher Nyakoko Primary School – Miwani), the late George Ouma (formerly KPTC), Pamela Olali (Director St. Joel Nowa), Coleta Ogola (Ugunja Pri.), the late Edward Opany (formerly AGFC Muhoroni),Agrrey Owino (KRA), and Ernest Awuor (Hoi Wangarot). Step-mother to the late Mecrine Auma, Mecteilda Ogodo, the late Augustine Otieno and Jane Onyango.

Mother-in-law To Gabriel Onyango, the late Samuel Ogodo (formerly MOE), the late Philip Odhiambo), Bishop Eng. Caleb Olali and Eric Ogolla Josiah (CPK). Mother-in-law to Josphine Otieno, Janet Ouma, Catherine Opany, Margaret Odhiambo, Winnie Kwamanga (KRA), Phenny Okwaro, Agneta Nyameyo, Monica Awuor (Sunflag) and Dr. Christine Awuor Owino (KNH).

Sister to Joshua Olango, the late Bunde, the late Francis Anyim, Alfred Hondhendhe and Joseph Ondhendhe, Mary Muga, Anastasia Oluga, Paul Achola, the late Mary Auma, among others. Doting Grandmother to Rodney, Dauhty, Amos, Lilian, Georgina, Sarah, Victor, Fiona, Winnie, Caroline, Magaret, Vicky, Fred, Irene, Daudi, Jon-Tyler, Megan, lmani, Aggrey Jnr, Mia, Liam Tamrey, Herenia, John and Collette Charleen Jimmy, Golda, Jackline, Bella and Dr. Lorine, John,Caroline, Stephany Odhis and Owino Jrn, among others. Great-grandmother to Jerome, Sophy, among others.

The Body is lying at Kenyatta University Hospital Funeral Home. The burial will take place on 21st May, 2022 at her home in Sakwa Kamluang, Nyabenge Village, Bondo, Siaya County.

There will a requiem prayers at CCA HQ – Uhuru/Jericho on Thursday 19th May, 2022 from 9.00am to 11.00am.
