it is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Margaret Waithera Gicheru which occurred on November 13, 2016 at Pope John Paul II Huruma Centre, Nanyuki.

Beloved wife of the Late Benard Gicheru and daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Ndunyu. Loving mother of the Late Joseph Maim, Anastasia Mugechi of Limuru, Leonas Macharia formally of Delmonte Ltd, Josphat Macharia of Ngong, Prof. Michael Gicheru of Kenyatta University and Rosemary Mugechi of Coast General Hospital.

Mother-in-Law of Fredric Gichiri of Limuru, Margaret Njeri of Mugeka, Phillis Macharia of Ngong, Judith Kiva-Muita of Kenyatta University and Moses Njuki of Olkaria Geothermal Plant, Naivasha.

Sister of Ndacu Ndunyu, Gitau Ndunyu, Mwai Ndunyu, Late Ngunju Ndunyu, Late Nyambura Ndunyu and Late Warnbui Ndunyu. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Prof. Gicherus House (Kenyatta University), Josphat Macharia’s house (Ngong), and at the deceased’s home Mugeka Gaturi Murang’a, County.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Tuesday November 22, 20I6 at 8am for funeral service and burial at Mugeka, Gaturi, Murang’a County.
