Maria Goretti Atieno Ndede

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Maria Goretti Atieno Ndede, which occurred on 21st August, 2022 whilst receiving treatment at Kenyatta University Teaching Research & Referral Hospital (KUTRRH), Nairobi. At the time of her passing Mrs. Ndede was working as an Under Secretary (US) Administration, State Department for Public Service (SDPS).

Loving daughter to the late John Bede Nyambare and Teresia Akumu Nyambare. Sister to Peter Nyambare, the late Rosa De Lima Adhiambo Ombis, the late Charles Lwanga Sewe, Benard Nyambare (USA) & Charles Lwanga Nyambare.

Former wife to Douglas Odhiambo Ndede (USA). Beloved mother to Mandela Nyambare Ndede, Attica Ndede Randall (USA) and Immanuel Rapemo Ndede. Adoptive mother to Lennox Leonardo Ombis and Ruth Viola Ombis.

Doting grandmother to Miya Randall (USA), Seth Odhiambo Nyambare Ndede, and Amun Bavo Ombis.

Cherished niece to the late Clara Kibrit, Mary Opiyo and Veronica Owiti; the late Seraflna Auma, the late Anthony Onyango, the late John Makori, Christopher Agola and the late Francis Magioki. Loving auntie to David, Maureen, Brian & Stephanie (USA).

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Ngara Civil Servants Housing Project, Block P, House number 30.

A prayer service will be held on Friday 2nd September, 2022 at KUTRRH Memorial Home from 10:00am.

The cortege leaves KUTRRH Memorial Home on Saturday 3rd September, 2022 at 8:30am, for burial at 10:00am at the Lang’ata Cemetery.
