In humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of our beloved Mother: Mary Chepkirui Kurgat of Chrisco Church, Kericho.

Wife of Jonathan Kipkorir Kurgat and the daughter of Lucia Ruto and the late James Ruto (Mosonik). Sister of Alice Mosonik, Grace Cheruiyot, Philemon Bett, David Bett, Joel Ben, Ruth Kirnetto, Anne Misik, Phillip Bett and the late Rebecca Lang’at. Mother of the late Betty Chepkemoi Kurgat, Patrick Kipngetich and Janet Sambas, Maurice Kimutai and Keziah Korir and Paul Rukaria and Caroline Cherotich. Grandmother of Ian and Michelle Bett Seroney, Michelle Korir, Cheptoo Korir, Kipkurui Korir, Lisette Chebet Korir, Anisa Kendi Rukaria and Aisha Chebet Rukaria.

Family and Friends are meeting at Lavington United Church, Nairobi on Tuesday 7th May and Wednesday 8th May 2019 from 5.30 p.m. and daily from 4 p.m. at the family homes in Kericho town and Chemaluk, Uasin Gishu.

The cortege leaves Siloam Hospital Mortuary Kericho on Friday 10th May at 9 a.m. for transportation to the family farm at Chemaluk, Uasin Gishu County. Arrival at the home will be at 2 p.m. the same day.

The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 11th May 2019 at the Chemaluk home (past Marula), off Eldoret — Iten Road at 11:00 a.m.
