It’s with great sadness and humble acceptance that we wish to announce the departure of Mary Njeri Mwenja. Njeri was a member of the great Mahianyu family.

Beloved Daughter of the late Jerevasio Mwenja Mahianyu and the late Jane Warii. Mother of the late Jane Warii, the late Catherine Nyambura, Joseph Mwaura, Theresia Wangui. Sister of James Mahianyu, Joseph Kihara, the late Lucy Wanja, Samuel Maina, Freshia Wangari, Daniel Kariuki. Step-daughter of Agatha Wakirangi. Step-sister of Anthony Mahianyu, Nancy Wanja, Iregi Mwenja, Felishina Wangari. Beloved grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting on Wednesday, 8th May at Sandton Palace Hotel Nairobi Home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Friday, 10th May for burial at Langata Cemetery.
