Mary Clare Otyang’a Muyekho

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of retired Teacher, Mrs. Mary Clare Otyang’a Muyekho, which occurred on 25th June, 2022 in Mombasa, after long illness.

Daughter of the late Gregory Otyang’a and Rofina. Daughter-in-law of Jestimore Mukhonyi & Selina Nabalayo. Wife to Wycliffe Muyekho.

Sister to the late Casmil, the late Teresa, Ouma, the late Victoria, the late Gerald, the late Joseph and Nicholas.

Mother to John of IEBC, the late Mating’i, Annette, Rose, the late Stephen, Erick, Dolorita, Diana, Franciscah and Brenda. Mother-in-law to Edward, Lennox, Amos,Vincent, Barnabas, Ronald, Jackie and Brenda.

Aunt to Vincent, Jane, Fr. Johnbosco, Edward, Valentine, Friday, Sunday, Pamela, Milly, Omorutu, Moses, Donald, the late Lawrence among others. She leaves behind twenty six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

‘Basakwa’ to Rosalia, Judith, Nzigo, Petronila, Beatrice, Margaret, Lilian,Ambrose and the late Agatha.

Family and friends are meeting daily in Mombasa Mtopanga and at her home in Sanandiki Chwele Bungoma.

The cortege leaves Jocham Funeral Home on 7th July, 2022 for Bungoma, Chebukaka Catholic Church for prayers and proceed to her home. The final prayers and burial will be on 9th July, 2022 at her Sanandiki home.

Ooh Lord, eternal rest grant Mayi Mary, and let thy perpetual light shine on her. Amen!
