Mary Gathigia Gichuhi

We are saddened to announce the death of Mary Gathigia Gichuhi (formerly working for Barclays Bank of Kenya Ltd) and a resident of Buru Buru phase 2, on 1st January 2020 at Metropolitan Hospital.

Daughter of the late Julius Gichuhi Kiritu and the late Margret Wamuyu Gichuhi, Step daughter of Edda Wacheke Gichuhi.

Mother of Joseph Gichuhi and Winfred Wamuyu Omolo. Mother-in-law of Mary Wambura Gichuhi and Sylvester Omolo, sister of the late Peter Muraguri Gichuhi, the late Charles Ngibuini Gichuhi and the late Esther Mumbi Gichuhi, step sister of Mary Wambui Warui, James Njogu Gichuhi among others. Sister in law of the late Mrs. Beatrice Muraguri and Reverend Veronica Ngibuini.

Grandmother of Maurice Muraguri, Chelsea VVairimu, Kalvin Kabutha, Martin Mugo, Qwe Lawi, Jabali Auki, Tendai Gichuhi, Rodney Omolo and Rhoda Omolo.

Requiem mass will be held on Thursday 9 January 2020 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Buru Buru at 2:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Thika road on Friday 10/01/2020 at 7:30 a.m for )funeral service and burial at her home in Kanjuri village, Muthea location, Karatina, Nyeri County at 11:00 a.m.

Friends and relatives are meeting at All Saints Cathedral, Kindergarten Nairobi and her home in Kanjuri village at 6:00 p.m for prayers and burial arrangements.
