We regret to announce the sudden demise of Mary Jematia Mengich Sigoo a retired teacher.

Daughter of the late Job Kimengich arap Kokwo and the Late Kobilo Kimengich of Tulwobei village, late Kipsigoo Rotich and late Kongato Kipsigoo all of Tumeiyo village,Elgeyo Marakwet county. Wife of the late John Kibiwott Arap Sigoo and co wife of the Late Rose, Jane, and the late Susan. Sister of the late Chelal, Taprongoei, late Joseph Mengich, Tarnurei, Late Tororei Mengich, Jonathan Mengich, late Paul Mengich, Moses Barsulai, Samuel Samoei, William Masai, and Dinah. Sister in-law of the late Kimaiyo, late Mary, Joel, Henry, Joseph, late Chepter, late kipsambu, Late Kiprop, late Tabarno, Esther, Tom, Wilson, Daniel among others. Step mother of Kipruto, Kibet, Jackline, Chepkorir, Andrew, Kefa, Stella, and Jepkemboi. Guardian of Eunice, Andrew and Judith Jerop and Aunty of many.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at her home (Kap Mengich) Tulwobei, Milimani (Kap Chepter) and Eldoret respectively, fundraising to be held today at Eldoret Wagon Wheel Hotel starting from 4pm.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 1st January 2019 for a short prayer at home Tulwobei and overnight stay at Milimani Kap Chepter before burial on 2nd January 2018 at Milimani Kap Chepter from 10am.
