It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mwalimu Samuel Albert Kiprotich Mitei at the Kericho Nursing Home after a long illness.

Son of the late Nganai Arap Langat and the late Sarah Tapsaron Langat. Step Son of Rhoda Tabarno and Sarah Taprantich. Brother of the late Grace, Lelei, Rachel, Florence, Zephaniah and the late Jane. Step brother of Taptuei, Obot Paulo, Late Patel, Late John, Joseph, Late Hellen, Emily, Robert, Alice, Agnes, Late Simon, Esther, Daniel and Reuben.

Husband of Ruth Mitei. Father of Mike (KenGen), Jennifer (Torsogek School), Willy (Color Creations, Nairobi), Wheldon, Joyce (Kisii University), Hilary (Kipaiit School), Gladys (ATS Travel) and Eveline. Son in-law of the late Arap Msee and late Leah Msee.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kericho County from 5.00 pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home on Monday 31st December 2018 at 1.00 pm for prayers and overnight stay at home.

He will be laid to rest on 1st January 2019 at Kiboybei Village, Kapsoit Ward, Kericho County.
