It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Mary Kukui Chelogoi on 27th November, 2022, formerly of Kenya Farmers Association (KFA), Nakuru.

Daughter of the late Christopher and Rozoah Ngeywo. Step-daughter to Jane, the late mama Sitati and the late Chesegut, all of Kaptama – Mount Elgon. Daughter-in-law to the late Kulany and the late Toskin.

Wife to former Senior DC – Dr. Davis Nathan Chelogoi. Mother to Ken, George, Sylvia Apaa, Eng. Lawrence, Eunice Toro, Anne Njoroge, Allan and Dennis. Mother-in-law to Dr. Toro, Eng. Njoroge, Eugene, Joan and Wairimu. Grandmother to Joe,Tony, Dan, Davis, Nalani, Nicole, Nolan, Kibet, Kiptoo, Jabali and Jalani.

Sister to Enid Cherongis, the late Dennis, David, Sussie, Gladys, Kotut,Walter, Edith, the late Rodrick, Consline, Jessica and Ann. Sister-in-law to Kerenget, H. Cherongis, P. Boyyo, Cheshari, S. Chonge and many others.

Cousin to PS Harry Kimtai, Hildah, Emmah, Serah, Joshua, Reuben Butaki, Dr. Kipleljohn Kapsoot, Phyllis, Everlyne,Winrose and many others.

Niece to the late Stephen Sismwo, Geofrey Sismwo, Hon. Kisiero, Beatrice Kisiero, the late Simon Psiwa, Jane Psiwa, Everlyne Tumwet, the late Henry Ndiema, Prof. Peter Chepkurui, the late Ben Kukui, the late Maiba, Eunice Tirongo, and many others. Aunty to many Nieces and Nephews.

The cortege leaves MP Shah Hospital Funeral Home on 9th December, 2022 at 11.00am for Nakuru, for an overnight stay at their home in Nakuru Milimani Estate. Thereafter, proceed to their Kabarak/Olerongai home on 10th December, 2022 where she will be laid to rest.
