Mary Kwamboka Geteri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mary Kwamboka Geteri formerly of NCPB Moi Breach Depot, on 29th December 2025, after a short illness.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Francis Geteri and the late Binsari Geteri.

A devoted wife of the late Moffat Onsongo and the late Abel Nambafu. A loving mother of Nina Moraa, Derrick and Moses. Grandmother of Nikita., Nick, Marjorie and Hakim. A treasured mother-in-law of the Bunyalis. Step-mother of Damaris, Stella, Hudson, Evans and Evelyne.

A cherished sister of Samuel, the late Christopher, Mellen, Philip, the late George, Grace, Stella, Linet, the late Wilfred, Pamela, Veronica, the late Joseph, Mosoria, Onchwati, Kwamboka and Gwaro.

A celebration of her life and burial will take place on January 2026 at 10.00am at her home in Bidii Pombo.

A fundraising will be held on 6th January 2026 at her Bidii home and Kibomet residence.
