Mary Mutile Musau Mainga

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mary Mutele Musau Mainga (Retired teacher, Mutwii Primary School) which occurred on Sunday, November 30, 2025 after a long illness bravely borne. She was 78 years old.

Wife of Joseph Musau Mainga.

Daughter of the late Isaiah Mueke and the late Elizabeth Mwali.

Mother of Gladys Mwelu, Muthini, Kimanthi (Kenya Defence Forces), Mutinda, Mutua, Kyalo and the late Beatrice Mbete.

Sister of Agnes, Rhoda, Anastacia, Mutindi, the late Monica and the late Muthue.

Mother in law of Pauline, Evelyn, Christine, Cecilia and Aurelia.

Grandmother of Mbinya (German), Kala (Kenya Navy), Musyoka, Keli, Kioko, Tony, Danton, Mbula, Mumbe, Mainga; Gift, Sharon, Faith, Isaac, joyson and Mwali. Great grandmother of Alvin, Dareen, Muuo, Pendo and many others.

Sister in law of Munyive, William, Mutisya, Mukulu, Mumina, Musyoka, Katumi, Phyllis, Catherine and Elizabeth, the late Kavindu, and the late lthau, the late Priscila, the late Flora and the late Nthamo.

Aunt of Thomas Mailu, Paul Nganda, Geofrey Mutunga, Hon. Diana and many others.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday December 13, 2025. The funeral service will take place at Mutwii Primary School in Makueni County starting from 10,00 am before the burial ceremony at Umu Village, Mbooni West Sub-county in Makueni County.

Mum, we loved you but God loved you more. Rest in the peace of Christ. Amen!
