Wife of George Obege, proprietor Cryingstone Guest House and retired Manager Kenya Postal Cooperation. Daughter of Mzee Christopher and Mama Rael Kaemba of Misikhu Friends Church. Daughter-in-law of Mzee Obege of Masana village, Vihiga. Mother of Brian Obege of Kenchic Nairobi, Allan Obege of Family Bank Busia, Chris Obege (Egerton University), Fred Obege (Makini School), and Everlyn Chedenyi (Chemasirihi Primary School –  Maragoli). Sister of Antony Khaemba (Mombasa), Everlyn Khaemba (Principal, Ebusiratsi Girls High School – Bunyore), Margret Sitati, Grace, Rasoha khaemba, Esther Nandako (Mwembe) and Petronila Mutiembu (Busia).

Auntie of Chris (Pwani University), Caro (USA), Rachael (Dar-es-Salaam), Rasta (Mombasa), Lucas (Nairobi), Kezia, Jones, Hilary, Edwin, Denis, Nancy, Sally, Linda, Myra, among others. Sister-in-law of Lawrence, Jane, Gladys Ayugo, Violet Odari, and Nyangasi. Mother-in-law of Elizabeth Ayuma, Branice Nambuye, and Karen Misenya. Grandmother of Bruce, Valerie, Mariah, Nicole, and Prince George, among others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Hospital Mortuary on 11/01/2018 to Masana village —Vihiga County for viewing and back to her home in Ilesi village — Kakamega County. Burial will take place at her home on Saturday, 13/01/2018 at 9am.
