Mwalimu Samuel Mwangi Maina

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mwalimu Samuel Mwangi Maina of Rungene Photo Studio. He hailed from Kanorero, Kangema-Muranga County. His death occurred on Saturday 6th January at Coptic hospital.

Son of the lates Ernest Maina and Alice Wangari and brother of the lates Grace Wanja and Charity Muthoni. Husband of Jane Njeri Mwangi. Father of Nancy Mwangi (KQ), Mary Nyambura,`Wanja Kiburu (Kanyenya-ini), Catherine Ngatia (Embu), Kennedy Maina (Kenya Aerotech), Charity Kivungi, Rose Mukami Nga’ng’a (KQ), Ephraim Mwangi (Nairobi Water), Anthony Githiaka (Muwasco), Wangui Mwangi (Inooro TV), lanstanley Kahuru (KQ) and Jackline Wambui (NBK Nyeri). Grandather of Mwangi, Sammy, Chege. Petronilla among others.

Family and friends are meeting from 5:30 – 8: 00pm at his home in Ithiegeni Kanorero, St. Andrews University Way, Komarocks phase 3A, Munyaka hotel and Baraka plaza Embu.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Saturday 13th January at 6:30am for prayers at ACK St. Marys Kanorero Church, Kangema at 10:00am and burial thereafter at his home in Ithiegeni village.
