Wife of the late Joseph Gichuki Ndiang’ui. Daughter of the late Joseph Karani and Ann Wambui Karani. Daughter in-law of the late Simon Ndiang’ui (Ruku), the late Margaret Nyambura and Joyce Gathoni. Mother of the late Charles Maina, Daniel Karani of National Treasury-PFMR Bima House (Nairobi), the late Margaret Nyambura, Alice Nyawira Kanyutu (Nairobi), Peter Muriithi (2NK Sacco), Lydia Njeri (Nyeri), Jane Mumbi (Naivas Nairobi), and Eunice Wanjiku. Sister of Titus Macharia, the late Joseph King’ori Karani, Eunice Wanjiku (Kayole), Julia Wangechi, Elizabeth Muthoni and Lydia Njeri. Mother in love of Joyce Wangui Karani (Ruai), Lydia Njoki Muriithi, (Nairobi), Andrew Kanyutu Mungai (Probation Office Nairobi), Abusolom Irungu Wambugu (Muiondo/Muriuki Advocates). Grandmother of Kevin, Harriet and many others.

Friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangement at her home Kiandu, his son’s residence (Karani), Ruai Block 10 and at Tumaini Hse Fifth Floor behind Kencom from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mathari Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 2nd Dec 2016 at 9am for church service at Kiandu Catholic Church at 1am followed by burial at her home in Kiandu Village.
