It is with shock, sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mary Waithera Ndirangu (Mama Kamau) of West Indies Estate, Eldoret Town. She was one of the first faithful members of KAG Church in and around Eldoret town in early 1970’s. She was a senior member of Kenya Assemblies of God, Uasin Gishu District, Eldoret Christian Centre.

She was wife of the late Pastor Ndirangu Kamau.

Daughter of the late Wainaina and the late Nyaguthie. Daughter-in-law of the late Ibrahim Kiruma and the late Priscila Wanjiru Kiruma.

Mother of the late Peter Kariuki Ndirangu, the late Joseph Gitau, Gilbert Kamau, Francis Mureithia, Eva Wanjiru Gitata (Naivasha), Rael Nyaguthie Maina (Nairobi), James Kinuthia (Ruiru), David Mugoiyo (USA), Mbugua Ndirangu (Eldoret), Nelly Wanjiku Mundia (USA) and Samwel Waweru (Eldoret).

She was a grandmother of Caroline Waithera, Andrew Kamau, Lisa Wanjiru, Dennis, Samwel Maina, David Maina, John Gitau,Anne Gitata, Aliyah (USA), Niomi (USA), Joy (Nrb), Eleanor (USA) Evelyne (USA) among others.

She was auntie of Joseph Kariuki (USA), Lucy Wanjiku (Nkr), Terry Mbugua (Nkr) among others.

Church, family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home West Indies Estate Eldoret town between 7.00pm and 8:00pm for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 21/3/2024 at 9:00am for funeral service and burial on the same day at Yiamumbi cemetery.
