John Waruhiu Kimani (Big John)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved John Waruhiu
Kimani (Big John), formerly of Lifeline Limited, on 15th March, 2024, following a prolonged illness.

He was the son of the late Simon Kimani Waruhiu and the late Esther Wanjeri Kimani, step-son of the late Peninah Njeri Kimani.

Husband of Emily Wambui Waruhiu. Father of Simon Kimani, Maureen Nyatetu, Esther Njeri, Judy Mbowa and Aaron Mbowa, and cherished grandfather to Waruhiu, Wambui, David, Nambi, John, and Esther,

He was also a beloved brother of Daniel  | Mungai, Elizabeth Wambui, Virginia Wanjiru, David Wanaina, and several
step-siblings and in-laws.

Big John was dearly loved as an uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend by many.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 20% March 2024, at 11.00am at Ridgeways Baptist Church.

The burial will take place on Friday, 22nd March, 2024 at 10.00am at the Waruhiu Family Cemetery in Giathieko Gakoe, Githunguri, Kiambu County.
