Mary Waithera Wairire (Nyina wa Gid)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our dear mum Mary Waithera Wairire on Saturday, 2/07/2022, after a short sudden illness.

Loving wife to James Wairire Kahugu of Mutego Village, Gitaru Sub-location. Caring mother to Prof. Gidraph Wairire (UON) and Prof. Hazel Gachunga (JKUAT), Naomi Njeri and Joe Mbugua, Esther Wanjiku and Reuben Kageche, Kahugu Wairire and Ng’endo Kahugu, John Wairire and Carol Ndungu, Victoria Kayo and Vincent Githuku.

Sister to Wambui, Murugi, Mukami, David Githuku, Lucy Ruguru, Samuel Ndung’u and Freshia Gathoni.

Loving Cucu to Wanjiru, Samantha, Nyambura, Theophilus Wairire, Blessing, Njogu,Wairire Kageche, Charity, Maina,Waithera, Wairire Kahugu, Njeri, Waithera, Maxwell Wairire, Joy Waithera,Waceke. Great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home at Mutego Village.

The cortege leaves PCEA – Kikuyu Funeral Home on Friday, 8/07/2022 at 8:00am. Her life celebration service will be at PCEA Sigona Church at 10:30am and interment thereafter at her home,in Mutego Village.
