Mary Wanja Gaitho

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs Mary Wanja Gaitho which occurred on Friday 13th September 2019 at M.P. Shah Hospital Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Paul Githire Gaitho and the late Mary Kanyi Gaitho of Mahinga village Mugugu-Ngecha location, Limuru. Sister of Irene Wamuhu Matu and Mother of Joseph Karanu Gaitho, Francis Wamarema Gaitho of Databit Ltd and Peter Muroki Gaitho. Mother in-law of Lucy Wambui Karanu, the late Irene Wambui Wamarema, Caroline Njeri Wamarema and Joyce Njeri Muroki. Grandmother of Allan Gaitho Karanu, Hilda Wanja Karanu, Alex Mwaura Karanu, Michelle Wairimu Karanu, the late Leo Gaitho Wamarema, the late David Kirubi Wamarema, Michael Gaitho Wamarema, Andrew Kinuthia Wamarema, Jonathan Gathu Wamarema, Tracy-Marie Wanja Wamarema, the late Noel Gaitho Muroki, James Nderitu Muroki, Andrew Karanu Muroki and Kevin Kiragu Muroki. Dotting Great-Grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at Consolata Church, Westlands, Nairobi on Wednesday 18th September 2019 from 5.30pm to 7.00pm and at her home in Mahinga, Muguga-Ngecha.

There will be mass offered today 18th September 2019 at 5.30pm followed by the funeral meeting at the Consolata Church.

The body leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 20th September 2019 at 8.30am followed by a funeral service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kiambaa, Muguga from 10.00am. Burial will follow thereafter at her home in Mahinga, Muguga-Ngecha Village, Kiambu County.
