Mathew Mwamburi Mfuko

With total submission to the will of God, the County Government of Taita Taveta announce the promotion to glory of our beloved brother Mathew Mwamburi Mfuko, Ass, Director Human resource – Taita Taveta County Public Service Board, which occurred on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Born on January 3, 1987, he was husband of Mary Claire Amali and father of Jonathan, Ivan and Nolan.

The late Mathew Mwamburi Mfuko was the first-born son of Mr. Eliud John Mwamburi Mfuko and Mrs. Rosie Jesca Mrombo. He was a brother of Godfrey Mrombo and Moses Mwangerni, a relative and a friend to many.

The cortege will leave St. Joseph Shelter of Hope Ikanga on July 31, 2025, for a stop-over at his home in Vol Kasarani before proceeding for a church service at ACK St. Peters Cathedral Voi at 12.00pm, and later an overnight vigil at Mlechi Village, Mbale in V\fundanyi Sub County. The burial will be held on  Friday, August 1, 2025 at the same Mlechi village.
