Matriarch Christine Nyiva Ndeti

The Ndeti family would like to announce the peaceful passing away of its Matriarch Christine Nyiva Kiilu Ndeti on 13th March 2026 at the age of 102 years.

She was the devoted wife of the late Julius Kiilu Ndeti and co-wife of Sabina Syokwia Kiilu Ndeti.

Daughter of the late Maingi Ndambuki and the late Kasalu Mutave. Daughter in law of the late Kyalu Ndeti and Mwelu Ndeti. Sister of the late Tom Mulei (Mazito). Sister-in-law of the late Mutheke, the late Nzuki, the late Nthiwa, the late Mulili, the late Kavutu, the late Ngondu, the late Kiloko, the late Elizabeth Mukulu, the late Nthambi, the late Nzwili, and Cecilia.

Beloved mother of the late Kasalu, the late Nduku, Kamene, Somba, the late Maingi, Ndambuki, Mutave, Mvvisya, Mbatha, the late Ndunge, Mulika, the late Monthe, the late Mwikali, the late Mutiso, Lengesi, Musyoki,Thyiaka, Matei, Kyende, Mary, Mbithe, Mumbua, Her Excellency the Governor of Machakos County – Wavinya Ndeti, Mwelu among many others.

Daily burial planning meetings are being held at the home, in Athi River Makadara from 6.00 p,m. to 7,30 p.m.

The burial will take place on Saturday, 21st March 2026 at the Ndeti’s Family Ancestral Home in Mua Hills, , Machakos County.
