Matthew Kamiri (Mateo)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Matthew Kamiri (Mateo) that occurred on 16th July 2018 after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Mrs Mary Wanjiku Kamiri. A loving dad of Felix Karanja, Rev. Fr. Vincent Kamiri, the late Peter Ngugi, the late Rose Wangari, the late Francis Njumbi, Joseph Ngugi,Wilbard Mbugua and the late Samuel Mugwanja. Son of the late Felix Karanja Kamiri and the late Victoria (Itoria), Wangari. Brother of the late Clare Wanjiru Wandahi and the late Delevino Ngugi and Maria Nyachuru Kirima. Father-in-law of Teresia Kamwende Karanja, Virginia Ngugi, Jane Mbugua and Sarah Mugwanja. Grandfather of several children and great grandfather of 4 children.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Lioki kiambu County from 4pm for holy mass and funeral arrangements.

Friends are also meeting at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Ridge ways Kiambu Road from 6pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kiambu Hospital Mortuary on Monday 23rd July 2018 at 8 am for holy mass to be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at 11am. Burial will be at his farm, Lioki.
