Mercy Chemutai (Chamu)

1997 — 2023

With profound grief, we announce the demise of our beloved sister, Mercy Chemutai (Chamu), of Chebirir Village, Bomet County, which occurred on 5.5.2023 at the Kenyatta National Hospital while undergoing treatment due to injuries sustained on a road accident along Kitengela-lsinya Road on 4.5.2023.

Chamu was the 2nd last born child to Rachel Korir and the late Charles Korir. She was sister to Joyce, Judy, the late Hillary, Lilian, Dennis, Kenneth, Winnie and Precious.

She was a sister-in-law to Dennis Ochwachi and Pamela Aunty to Brian, Lennox, Sheldon, Shiloh, Kenna,Alpha and Ayla.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their Kabarak home for burial preparation, a fundraising has been planned for Thursday, May 11th 2023.

The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 13th 2023 at their home in Chebirir Village, Itembe Location, Chepalungu Constituency, Bomet County.
