Michael Harrison Kimani

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Michael Harrison Kimani of ICEA LION General Insurance on Monday 3rd June, 2019.

Michael was the son of the late Philip Kamau and the late Joyce Wairimu of Kagera Village – Ng’enda, Gatundu South. He was the son-in-law of the late Japheth Mirii and the late Susan Wanjiku. He was the loving husband of Margaret Waithira Kimani and the father of Joyce Wairimu Kimani (USA), Mathew Kamau Kimani (Babu) of Weichai Garage Mombasa, Susan Wanjiku Kimani (USA) and James Mirii Kimani (Jimmy). Michael was the father-in-law of Patrick Kagema Kariuki (USA), Christelle Ingabire (Mombasa) and Edward Johnson (USA). He was the doting grandfather to Sophia, Kaysan, Chloe, Ian, Bramwel and Rehema.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at 5.30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at his residence along Kiambu road. Separate meetings will also be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi as follows: Today, Friday 7th June, 2019 and from Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th June, 2019 at 6.00pm.

There will be a prayer service at his residence on Sunday, 9th June at 3.00pm. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 13Th June, 2019 at 9.00am and will proceed to Don Bosco Catholic Church, Upper Hill, Nairobi for the funeral service. This will be followed by his interment at Langata Cemetery.
