In Loving Memoriam of Michael Kiprono Sambu

It was a chilly morning of April 21st 2023 when your heart stopped beating. It’s now one year today, but feels fresh like yesterday.

After your funeral, when everyone had left, silence came knocking and real emptiness descended on us with a wrenching calm. Reality manifested to us that it was time to learn to live and cope without you.

We who knew and loved you most felt your absence the greatest. We have kept struggling with pretense that all is well, yet deep down in our hearts, screams of pain fill us. Even today, we struggle to accept that the loud laughter is gone for good and that we will not be picking you from the airport this year as was always the routine

We trust and believe that you are now in a better place with the angels.

Dearly missed by Dad William, mum Lucy and brother Abisha, Grand parents, uncles and aunties cousins and
nephews, nieces and friends.

Continue resting with the angels, till we meet again.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, 20th April, 2024 Starting from 2.00pm at his parents’ home in Kenmosa village, Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
