Michael Njoroge Muiruri (MN)

(1940 – 2019)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of the late Michael Njoroge Muiruri (M.N.) of Roromo, Murengeti, Limuru in Kiambu County after a short illness.

Son of the late Joseph Muiruri Gitonga and the late Hannah Wanjiru Muiruri. Loving Husband of Rachel Wairimu Njoroge. Father of James & Maryann Muiruri, Florence & Martin Thiong’o, Charity Wambui Njoroge, Martin & Edith Mbugua, Esther & Sam Muthumbi, Nelly & Kelly Njiraini, the late John Gitonga Njoroge and Rose Njeri Njoroge.

Brother of the late Jane Ruguru Muiruri, the late John Gitonga Muiruri, the late S.K. Muiruri, Margaret Njeri Kimani, Jacinta Njambi Kinyanjui and George Gachaiya Muiruri. Grandfather of Kelvin Muiruri, Rachael Muiruri, Liz Muiruri, Florence Muiruri, Ryan Hunyu, Elvis Njoroge, Margaret Wambui, Sharon Wairimu, Ike Njoroge, Rhoda Wairimu, Michael Njoroge Mbugua and Margaret Wangari, Jeff Ragui, Stella Nyokabi, Fridah Muthoni, Collins Mburu, Oscar Mike Njoroge, Erwin Kinyanjui, Rita Njeri, Ashley Wairimu, Nelius Wahu and Shantel Mukami.

Great-Grandfather of Charlyne Wanjiku, Adrian Njiraini, Jane Wanja, Giles Martin Mbugua and Taqisha Jane Wanja.

There are meetings daily at his Roromo home, starting 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 16th May, 2019 at 8.00am for a Requiem Mass at St. Teresia Catholic Church, Murengeti, Limuru at 11.30am. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his Roromo home, Limuru.
