We regret to announce the death of Mzee Simion Mogire Areri of Kisii County, Bomariba Location Mogumo Village after a short illness.

Husband of the late Kerebi Mogire, Sarah Kwamboka Mogire, Mary Kemunto Mogire. Brother of the late Sisa Areri, Polina Moraa Ayiecha. Father of James Osoro, Thomas Nyangaresi, Rabera Itira, Peter N. Mogire (National Treasury), Ibrahim Ondieki, Sipora Kemunto, Richard Osembe, the late Gladys Nyakerario, Geofrine Moraa, Henry Gichana (AP Gatundu South), Eric Nyangeri, Caroline Monyangi, Enoch Mogire and Linet Nyanduko. Uncle of Annastasia Nyakerario, Jane Ntabo, Rebeca Queen, Haron Sisa (Kenya Re), Andrew Mokora, Samuel   Ayiecha. Father-in-law of Mariam,Alice, Gladys, Francicsa (State Department of Planning), Nyanchera, Kerubo, Nyaboke (Mogumo Sec) and Lydia. Korera of Mrs Bochere, Mrs Teresa Mokeira, Mr & Mrs Charles Boto, Mrs Agnes Mogirango, Mrs. Esther Nyaboke, Mr & Mrs Osano. Grand Father and Great Grandfather of many.

Final Harambee is on Tuesday 14 May, 2019 at Professional Centre Nairobi from 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Nyangena Hospital Mortuary – Kisii on Thursday, 16 May 2019. Burial will be at his home in Bomariba Location, Mogumo village, Kisii County.
