It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Michael P. Kago of Inland Academy (Githurai Kimbo) on 21st October 2019,

Loving Son of the late Simon Mbugua Muchina and Hannah Njeri Mbugua of Miiri Village Githunguri. Husband of Teresia Wangari Kago of Inland Academy and Son in-law of the late David Waithaka Mbuua and Lucia Wambui K of Banana Mbuua of Banana Hill.

Father of the late Pius Mbugua, Virginia Kago, Martin Waithaka Kago, Lucy Kago and Esther Kago. Father in-law of the Martin Kiboro, Alice Mwihaki, James Ngatia and George Chege.

Brother of Njoroge, Nyokabi, Naomi, Peter Muchina, the late Gachambi, the late Muchina, the late Njatha, Munjuga, Mwihaki, Kibe. Brother in law of the late Joe Kamau, Christopher, Anthony, George Kamau, Salome, Anne, Catherine and James Kamau. Uncle of Simon Mbugua, Francis Kibe, Hannah Nganga, Mary Ndura, Francis Rubia, Nyambutu and Monica. Grandfather of Elvis, Aydenn, Edwin, Earnestine, Daynan and Kai.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence in Githurai Kimbo at 6 pm daily.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on 31st October 2019 at 8 am. Funeral service will be held at Holy family Catholic Church, Githunguri. He will be laid to rest in his farm in Githunguri next to St. Joseph’s Boys School.
